Day 2 in Cape Town, South Africa

We ‘officially’ started cruise number 2 today on the Voyager of the Seas! Same ship – different room!

We had to leave the ship for immigration and check-in, so we decided to walk to Checkers – the grocery store!

Much to our surprise and Adam’s disappointment – it was no longer there!! Instead a cross-fit gym took over the space! Have no fear, we found a curio and got some Pringles (sour cream & onion and pizza flavors).

On our walk back to the ship we browsed Battery Park, sat along the canal, and peeked at the Ferrari dealership!

When we got back on the ship we returned to our new room! We are now on Deck 11 – FRONT – literally the front of the ship! It is awesome – like we are driving the ship! 🚢

We have a HUGE balcony and a slightly bigger room with updated decor and style! So fun! 🤩

Since it is technically Day 1 of cruise 2, we had to use our BOGO coupons and had dinner at Giovanni’s. Delicious 😋 of course!

Our all on-board time was 5:30, but by 7 we still hadn’t left. The Captain finally made an announcement and said it was too windy in the harbor and unsafe to leave. He said as soon as the wind was better we would be on our way!
