Singapore – Nov. 30 – Day 35 of our Mega Cruise & December 1st!

December 1st – We made it to our hotel – dropped our luggage – and took a walk.

We got our tourist pass for the MRT first – the subway system. Two days unlimited travel for less than $50!

First stop – park along the gardens! We were surprised it wasn’t very busy anywhere – 10 am and no traffic or people!

It was so hot and humid! We headed back to the hotel to officially check-in and take a short nap. 😴 We must have been more tired than we thought since we slept until 5 pm!!

Rally team – we are in Singapore!!

I really wanted to go to the Gardens by the Bay again to see the trees, light show, and exhibits. Off to the MRT again and this time we noticed A LOT more people. It was like the whole city woke up!!

When we got to the park, we were advised to come back tomorrow since the park was closing in a bit. So we watched the light show and made our way to Orchard Road where there are malls, food, and Christmas lights. It was awesome! We are getting so good at the subway too!! the underground web of shopping, food, and subway is pretty amazing.

What a maze of awesomeness! We explored so much our feet were aching and our stomachs were growling. We settled on a late dinner at FIVE GUYS (of all places) but it was already 9:30 at night and restaurants were starting to close!

Tired and hot (80 degrees at 10 pm) we hopped on the subway and back to the hotel.

We checked a lot of places off of our sightseeing list today – but so much more to see tomorrow!

November 30th – We made it to Singapore! Our last stop before we head home!! Despite strong storms in this region, we have had sunny days with only a little rain. 🌧️
