- The Windjammer has a lot of food options! Get your table first then food. Also – be aware of all the people without spatial awareness – some stop in the middle, turn quickly, or reach right in front of you!
- Be ready for your room – make a list of what you want and share it as soon as you meet the room attendant. For example – extra towels, ice every night, printed Daily Compass, and when you want the cleaning to happen (we always have ours done while we are at dinner)
- Download the VIATOR app to find excursions. Plan early and give yourself plenty of time to get back to the ship.
- Tip well right from the start! Bar staff will pay extra attention to you with just this small gesture. 💵💶
- Duct-tape – if you ever do laundry on the ship, the laundry bags are made out of paper. To get the most clothes in the bag, you should use tape to keep it shut.
- Magnet hooks are great for use around the room. You can put hats, lanyards, coats, small bags – whatever you need. Just make sure to pack a few so you have them!
- For long cruises, only bring clothes you can put in the laundry bag for washing.
- A TIP from URSULA – on Caribbean Night – get matching shirt outfits. You will be a true cruiser if you have this!
- If you only need to go up 2 floors – take the stairs. But, always take the stairs down!
- Use free coffee vouchers at the coffee bar on deck 5 (promenade)
- If you drink soda – bring them on the ship! You can bring 16 – 16 ounce (non-alcoholic) drinks on-board!
- If you don’t use all of your daily drink vouchers, make sure to “cash out” at the end of the night and grab some waters or sodas. Use the vouchers each day!
- Even though there is unlimited food, always bring potato chips!
- Hold on to your hat on deck 12 (or don’t wear one) because it will blow away on windy days.
- Try the specialty restaurants! They are delicious and offer variety not usually found in the dining room. Our ship has 3 – Chops, Giovanni’s, and Uzumi. Yum!
