We checked in at Adam’s favorite hotel stop – the Holiday Inn Express. We were both exhausted since we hardly slept on the plane and took a short nap (and it was raining).
It stopped raining and the sun came out. It was a cool 65 degrees and sunny so out we went to explore.

We started walking on this great pedestrian zone. It went on for miles and people were out-and-about. We saw families, joggers, couples, dogs – it was great to see so many people enjoying this afternoon.
We finally found a restaurant that we wanted to try named Casa Del Mar. This place was hoppin – it was packed! So of course we had to stop! It helped that the menu was in both Spanish and English!

After debating our dinner options for a bit we settled on crispy Camembert cheese tapas, a grilled skirt steak, and a paella de pollo!
Dinner is served!

YUM! Dinner was delicious – we ate it all and even an almond cake for dessert.
We found a small imbiss shop on our way back to the hotel that had some fun mayos for us to bring home and ham and cheese flavored Ruffles to try later.
