With many things still to do – I’m starting to realize we have more to get done and less and less time to do it!
This is actually happening!
We got the check-in link for the cruise in our email yesterday! Woot! Woot!
Did I mention we also got our room assignment? We selected the “guaranteed room” option with Royal Caribbean. That means that we got a bit of a discount on our price and Royal picks the room we get.
It’s like a Room Reveal Party (haha!)…drum roll please…wait for it…Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, we also put in a bid to “Royal Up” our room selection – which we did not get (bummer)…so where are we on the ship?
DECK 2! Cabin with a window! Yes, you read that correctly – DECK 2! (On the Voyager of the Seas)
Pros and Cons of Deck 2:
Pro – we are right by the elevators/Con – heavy foot traffic on port days
Pro – we can watch the water while we sail/Con – we can watch the water while we sail
Pro – we won’t hear the party noises from other decks/Con – will hear other ship noises that sound more like engines
Pro – we are close to the casino/Con – not so close to food (wait, maybe that is a pro?)
